Fw 190A-8/R11 NACHTJAGER

So far there has yet to be a Luftwaffe single seat night fighter released and this would make for a real beauty. I have the DML 1/48th kit (Where picture is from), but it would be nice to see one of these done in diecast. The luftwaffe did make some significant use of single seat nightfighters and it would nice to see something in diecast to represent these neat looking aircraft.

I've also wondered about single seat night fighters CC. I'm having problems posting but check out this thread. I posted pics of a Fw190A6/R6. Visit to the South African National Museum of Military History.

I have the kit. I'm tempted to scavenge the radar aerial parts
to put on my custom FM Fw 190, but I wouldn't stoop that low.

I have the kit and would have trouble scavenging it too. Just need to get around to building it.

Nice photos of the Fw 190. Single seat night fighters would make for a neat addition to diecast. Would not mind seeing a Bf 109 nightfighter being made too,

I've been spending some time looking those photos today, the Me 262 is also very cool too. I guess that scheme may be a bit of a challenge for Dragon given their last effort at a Me 262 night fighter.

To true on that one! Bet they could do a nice job on the Fw 190 though.

Found another neat Fw 190 Nachtjager variant. It has dipoles in the wings and fuselage.
