Re: Pics of new JG-54 Butcher Bird

I know this has been discussed many times but would someone advise which is the best source/place to find a good decal sheet with swastikas, preferably one with 1/72 and 1/48 scale.

Aeromaster puts out some good swastika decal sheets in both 1/72nd & 1/48th scale (even one in 1/32nd scale). Stock number for 1/72nd is AN72184 and 1/48th scale stock number is AN48545. I get mine from Squadron.com

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

I just got this model in, and yes the finish is great! It looks like it's been white washed for real. And it still has the fine lettering. Great little model.

Re: Pics of new JG-54 Butcher Bird

I picked this up from OMI yesterday and although I had trouble assembling the gear, I have to say that this is probably one of the finest releases Dragon has ever made! This 190A is the best so far and I highly recommend picking this one up.

Re: Pics of new JG-54 Butcher Bird

Corgi has already released 3 of these white 190s and we still can't get enough?

Well, me neither! Count me in. I'd be very happy if Dragon or Gemini would do a JG54 109 too. Maybe the Philip 109 like the Armour one.

Pic from the Aikens site. Thanks Dave!

Good choice parsig, would like to add the Philip 109 to my E.F collection.

Re: Pics of new JG-54 Butcher Bird

I wish someone would put out a white Bf 109 in 1/72nd scale.

MRC has at least one, being Eric Hartmann's.
