Three Dragon Bf 109Es

Over the last few weeks I have added three of the Dragon Bf 109Es to my collection. In my opinion not as nice as the Corgi Bf 109E, but it does fill a gap as far as the earlier marks of the Bf 109E go (Bf 109E-1 thru Bf 109E-3.). Kind of wish someone would put out some of the C & D model Bf 109s, but don't see that happening anytime soon (Or ever). Bit of a shame that Dragon did not put out to many of these early variants of the Bf 109E. At least now I have some pretty good coverage with regards to the Bf 109Es (Dragon covering E-1 thru E-3 and Corgi covering E-4 and later.).

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Pretty birds you've got there. I've got the two in the lower picture - which one is in the first? Is it one of the Cyber Hobby exclusives? If so, I might have to hunt it down... looks great.

Starting to get a sizeable collection of 109s. Between E and G models (1/72nd and two in 1/48th scale) currently sitting at 29 Bf 109s.

You are correct, it is a Cyber Hobby model, and looks pretty nice too. (Snagged it when PappyB had his sale a couple of weeks back.).

I wish they put out more P-40s too.

Re: Three Dragon Bf 109Es

Thankfully Pappy had the info about the first bird on his site. I managed to find it at Dragon's USA website for a decent price.

I'll have to order it

Re: Three Dragon Bf 109Es

As a side note, who makes the decals you are using? Could you also PM me the website where you purchase them from. I thought I would give it a try due mainly to your photos. I have the same plane as your first pic you posted and it looks 100 times better with the historically correct markings on the tail. I think it is high time I correct Dragon's political correctness
