Just joking Patrick, I understand what you are saying, but upgrading a diecast is fun too.

As a retired Aerospace engineer who spent 25 years trying to make aircraft structures LIGHTER, I'm often struck by the contradiction inherent in diecast-airplane. A true oxymoron. A most desirable attribute of the diecast airplane is HEFT. A most desirable attribute of a real airplane is the absence of same.

Shoot I still make models that use neither metal or wood. (In this case lighter is better)
