The NSAWC F-16B...

...looks amazingly cool while carrying live weapons. Very sad that this is not realistic.

Or (addressing especially to David H. once again: ) could there be any imagineable and realistic reason for a NSAWC F-16 to carry anything else than just one Sidewinder dummy and the ACMI pod?

Re: The NSAWC F-16B...

Not that I can think of. Did you remove the HARM launchers, or does that release not come with them?

There simply were no HARM launchers on this release - AFAIK it´s the only Dragon F-16 without them. Too pity, I do not know any way to remove the pylons without leaving paint damage - otherwise, they would be a great option to being repainted and being used on any other Dragon F-16.

BTW: did You notice the extra strut which I inserted into the jet intake?

I loaded mine up with bombs, too, may not be "correct" but it certainly looks cooler!

Re: The NSAWC F-16B...

Did it actually come with the two pilot figures?

In the picture on the right, the canopy appears to slant badly from one side to the other. Does it really look that way, or is the picture deceiving?

if it's a defect, is it a molding issue or a paint application problem?

thanks,

l/d

ps otherwise it looks very cool! thanks for sharing

Don´t worry folks,

the picture is not deceiving, but it´s no defect though. The opening mechanism of the canopy is just a little bit loose - but not more than normal. A little tipping to the starboard side would have saved the "problem" here (in fact, as I said - there simply IS no problem).

There WAS one problem in the past, because the front pilot´s head pitched against the canopy from inside so it did not close properly. I cut a bit of his butt off - problem solved.

BTW: the pilots were taken from the original Dragon Weapons Set. Apart from the front pilot´s butt, they fitted in quite well.

I had the same problem you did, with all of my two-seat F-16s, including the Sufa. I cut the legs off at the knees and sanded the pilot's rear a bit, to make them sit properly.
