Who knows what is going on with Dragon? They, very frustratingly, seem to change their minds every five minutes. I sincerely hope they come out with the P40 and do so within my lifetime. After all, you can never have to many P40's.

Re: No P-40 / P-51B at Nurnberg show

Draggin has really gotten on my bad side. I was / am looking forward to the P-40 and P-51B. Gemini has pretty much stopped their Mustangs for now so there is no competition at the moment. And their p-40 would surely be better than Corgis or FOVs.

as long as there are no fiddly bits, draggin will provide a good product.

Re: No P-40 / P-51B at Nurnberg show

Until recently, the Dragon USA site kept listing the P-51B and P-40E as coming in March or April. Now, these listings have disappeared. It looks to me like dragon is pulling a Matchbox on us and dropping out of the diecast aircraft market where new molds are concerned. I hope that this emboldens Corgi to come out with interesting new product, especially with other diecast marketers-----Gemini, Carousel 1, etc moving so slowly in this area. There's going to be a void to fill and this might be a fine opportunity for Corgi to reposition itself----providing the Chinese permit it.

Looks like they really reduced the size of their coming soon list. It also looks like they dropped 50324 Lufrwaffe JG 54 Grunherz, Hannes Trautloft Focke-Wulf Fw 190A from the list too. I was kind of looking forward to picking this one up. Does appear that Dragon is either pulling out or cutting way back on their diecast aircraft production.

Well, if it is true that Dragon is pulling out I'm sorry to see them go.

Conversely, the veritable flood of diecast is over. At least my wallet will be a little heavier.

Now we have to talk Hobby Master into producing a P-40B. Or maybe a P-40E or F so we can get a Tuskeegee Airmen P40! (Sorry, can't remember which variant they flew but I surmise it was the E.)

You can never have to many P40's.

For the last month, Bad Cat has listed their 1/72 Dragon warbirds as Dragon Aircraft CLOSE-OUT 30% OFF LIST!

Re: No P-40 / P-51B at Nurnberg show

If this is true, I'd better pick up the last remaining Dragons that I want before they are worth more than I'm willing to pay! I hear their P-51Ds are gorgeous. Trying to get a few of those right now.

Better just be a delay. I know their Dragon Wings line isn't nearly as popular as their Dragon Armor line (just take a look at how cheap their DX wingy things are compared to their DX tanks), but if they put out some more releases I'm sure they'd become more popular. Could it be that IXO Junior is killing Dragon Wings through sheer numbers and variety despite their lack of quality and accuracy?

Nope, not you're missing anything. I know of another online dealer doing the same "blowing out of Dragon warbirds sale" right now.

Your the man djjeffhall,

I really hope that Dragon are too far down the line to pull the P40.

Perhaps you and me should start to put the heat on Hawk to get HM to make us a P40B, and C,D,E,F etc etc,

You can never have too many P40s.

God Bless America.
