B-29 Superfortress Discussion

I am trying to decide which B-29 to get. The "Enola Gay" and "Boxcar" are historically significant for obvious reasons. Does anyone know the significance of "Look Homeward Angel"? Also, "Look Homeward Angel" has added guns that the other two don't have. Is this correct?

Re: B-29 Superfortress Discussion

Look Homeward Angel is a nice looking B-29 as well....Having the guns is a plus with that model...
Also the real one had them too.

Angel was a regular B-29 that was gun armed. The atomic aircraft had the weapons removed to save weight. If Dragon does some of the night bombers they would also have most of the weapons removed.

Re: B-29 Superfortress Discussion

Should the "Look Homeward Angel" nose art be on both sides of the fuselage like Dragon did it?

I finally pulled the trigger and ordered this B-29 from JoePilot!

Ah... just get 'em all, they're relatively small

The guns are correct, and I believe the noseart on both sides, too... but I can't find evidence prooving it so, just seem to recollect a profile that showed it on both sides.
