Yet Another Russian Front FW-190A-4 coming From Dragon

February 2008 release by Dragon...which knowing them probably means February 2028:

1/72 FW190A-4 3./JG.5, Orel, 1943 (Lieutnant Josef Jennewein)

Note: Picture from Dragon's website

Re: What, no diorama??

Nice to see some new and different schemes although they need to do other planes too..

Re: What, no diorama??

It would make for a nice addition. And as previously mentioned, definitely a nice change in paint scheme.

Just noticed, but is it going to be a new mold? Rudder does not match with their current Fw 190s, looks to be an earlier variant.

A fairly interesting scheme.

From the looks of the rudder, it may be a new mold.

Re: What, no diorama??

The carrier deck and revetment dioramas were excellent!

Dragon should release 1:35 scale tank transporters next.

I actually have the rivetment and Fw-190A on order.. I had always liked the 190s scheme, but didn't bother to get it, and now I have a reason..

CC is correct as the rudder is definitely an A-4.. My references show this Fw 190A4 to be from JG51 Russia 1943, not JG5 as Dragon has it.. Oh well......

This looks very nice. We all know it will NOT be a new mould, but I'll welcome it nontheless.

Anything for a weird life.

There can never be too many FW190s - the white 'Grunherz' Trautloft version is also due out any day now ...
