Now that's a good looking Mustang...If 21st Century Toys ever decides to do Nooky Booky they'll probably use that as a promotional photo...

Now back to the topic i hope the Dragon P-51B looks as good as the Gemini Aces does.
JP

That's the million dollar question...but if Draggin fails to live up and can't deliver, then Gemini Aces will still reign supreme with that particular variant of the Mustang!

Great minds think alike. Of course, we could always use one of the Gemini P-51Bs.

But how do you save the invasion stripes, thats my question. Can you lift the call letter w/o messing those up?

Shawn - mask off the individual stripe (so just the white stripe is exposed) and overpaint the letter, then mask off the stripes and overpaint the part of the letter on the OD. Or you can go with my version (pre D-Day) and overpaint the stripes and letters altogether! GA's font on the code letters is wrong anyway.

Shawn,

I'm with no4mkit...I'd strip the entire thing, repaint the base coat and then repaint the invasion stripes. According to Anderson's website, the stripes did not cover any part of the codes. Once you have the stripes painted you would then add the codes as decals.

Re: P-40 / P-51B when???

It will be great if Draggin' gets these right but then I suppose they will flood the market with their dio bases as well with the B model on them.
