Overall I have liked the looks of the Dragon Bf 109Gs, but with one exception though. The leading edge of the horizontal stabilizer does not come forward enough with the leading edge of the vertical stabilizer. You can see on the rudder where the mold has raised area where the stabilizer should sit, but stabilizer is actually between1/32^nd and 1/16^th off an inch to far back. So today I decided to do something about it and here is what my solution was. I first removed the rudder (Real easy and no problem doing so.) and then gently slid the horizontal stabilizer out (Have to be a little careful on this part.). With a jeweler’s file I lightly sand upper and lower surface of the connecting center plastic section then sanded leading edge of stabilizer center section down to insure that horizontal stabilizer fit to raised portion of rudder and stabilizer now more flush with leading edge of rudder. I used a jeweler’s flat head screwdriver to gently seat in stabilizer. Both my Dragon Bf 109Gs now corrected for this deficiency. This was one thing about the Dragon Bf 109G that I found to be a fairly major detractor and with just a little work it can be easily corrected. I know feel I have a valid excuse to pick up the rest of the Dragon Bf 109Gs.
