Yeccchhh....crew or no crew, carrier deck or no carrier deck, that Black Lions F-14 looks like garbage to me....
I honestly wouldn't take it if somebody gave it to me......space is far too valuable to have something like that occupying it.

Cool Re: New Dragon F-14D and F/A-18E

Well, since you're part Scotish, live in Moncton, you must be a Curler and play by the Moncton Rules. Played for years with Nutmeg Curlng Club, Darien, CT, until we lost our ice. A great game and almost as much fun as spending $$$ on znc airplanes.

That paint scheme is possibly my most favorite F-14 paint scheme of all time, and there are MANY good ones. I've been holding off on the Dragon version though. If CW ever makes one, I'll be first to make a reservation

Re: New Dragon F-14D and F/A-18E

I saw pictures of the newly released VFA-105 F/A-18E. Is it a CAG plane? It has colors but the modex is AC403. While the colors are not as attractive as the VF-31 F/A-18E, this one comes with bombs besides the sidewinders.

Oh ya. Saw another upcoming Dragon F-14 with ground crews and card deck. Think it's the Cyberhobby VF-11 F-14B.

Re: New Dragon F-14D and F/A-18E

you know, at first it appeared that the F-14 is the same old VF-213 just with a cardboard carrier flight deck and a few figures but it's actually the accurate paint scheme for that plane as the first one released (along with Witty's) is not. It has the victory stripe and the large star and bars vs no victory stripe and small star and bars of the first release. Sadly I just purchased the incorrect version, not realizing it was incorrect at the time.

They are both correct. I have seen photos of both. This upcoming VF-213 F-14D is the Cyberhobby version.

Re: New Dragon F-14D and F/A-18E

Do you happen to have that picture? I have seen a Tomcat painted with just the tails in the same scheme but not the glare shield. So many slight variations to the same schemes, I guess you never know these days. Was it the original 70's paint scheme?

Re: New Dragon F-14D and F/A-18E

yup, guess I was wrong. Dragon's grays are too dark though, they need to be lighter. I will stand by my comment that this is one of my favorite schemes though. Great looking bird.
