Re: Little bit if this, little bit of that (Dragon Diorama)

Speaking of dioramas, if you haven't gotten the GMP Pacific dio then you are really missing out! That thing is awesome (as well as GMP planes). Anyway, the old flimsy Dragon paper plate dio's really turned me off to their dios but I guess I'll give them another try since yours looks so good.

yeah, you have to check how thick the diorama is to tell if its going to be even decent or not. When those dragon ones are too thin, you have an idea how flimsy it will be.

Lets not forget out Intruders as well!
nose gear isn't squashed into the cat position, but still looks good to me!

It wouldn't be....That was a feature unique to the F-14.

Yep, my thoughts exactly. I want the diorama base bad enough to purchase the whole thing anyway, then I'll figure out what to do with the plane...

I Do wish they had included more/better deck crew figures with it, though...

If you're game for some kits and don't mind painting the figures...here's one from eBay that might interest you?

I got a few of those! 2 of the white figures in my pics are unpainted figures from that set

Yeah, pretty neat Fly. I'm going to have to get me one of those.

Thanks for the tip!

Re: Little bit if this, little bit of that (Dragon Diorama)

No need to scour Ebay, that kit's still in production and readily available.

Squadron.com

And a very similar kit, Squadron.com

Details on both kits:
1/72 Flight Deck Crews & MD-3 Tractor
1/72 Fire Engine & Flight Deck Crews
