I just got his one and I have to admit I like it dispite the pics i've seen of it. It really is a good looking bird and reminds me of the Confederate Air Force's ( yeah it wasn't PC back then ) version "Stump Jumper" I sat in as a kid long ago. I highly recomend it.

Yeah I got that one too Shawn It was the first Mustang P-51D I collected and I really like it smart looking scheme got her in formation next to Petie 2nd and guarding BOL.

Ditto! I love partial OD over NMF, you get the best of both color schemes this way. The 55th FG's Mustangs are among the best looking.

I've gotta say for as much crap as everyone gives Dragon, including myself, they make the best Mustangs in 72nd scale (fiddly bits and all)! I know some will disagree with me and argue that GA makes a great Mustang (b/c they do) but the quintessential Mustang is the "D" model not the "B" or "C" that GA makes.

Furthermore, Dragon's liveries are awesome (BBD, Petie, Millie, Glamorous Glennis, Lil' Margaret). If only they'd made an Urban Drew "Detroit Miss"! Speaking of, does anyone know why none of the manufacturers have made DM (besides Witty & EM)? Great story shooting down 2 Me-262 and a 6 engine flying boat!
