Now this is an interesting take on a re-issue, found on the Dragon website. It's supposed to replicate the Air Force museum in Dayton, OH...Will be released January of 2008, yeah right:

Moderators: The picture is linking to the Dragon website, hope this is okay!

That is silly! I think there are suppose to be rest rooms on that back wall at the NMUSAF. Didn't "Boxcar" have an arrow with a circle around it on the tail fin and no red stripe?

Where is the A-bomb? Which one did Bocks Car carry - the Fat Man or the Little Boy A-bomb?

B-29-35-MO 44-27297 "Bockscar." On the Nagasaki mission, it flew without nose art and with a triangle N tail marking, and it dropped FAT MAN.

Yep, that is interesting, alright. Maybe Dragon will release little museum-goer figurines to populate the diorama. Exciting!

Really, that's the best they could come up with for a B-29 diorama? Is it just me? Are collectors really gonna be excited about this diorama?

Nrrrm! Whoosh! Rat-tat-tat!

Maybe they will make me in 1/144th scale guiding visitors.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Dragon probably showed model with nose art, because that seems to be how it is displayed at Patterson Air Museum.
