The name was indeed on the aircraft for the raid, but not the nose art. The artwork was put on after the mission.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

True....But Dragon forgot the correct tail markings for Boxscar at the museum

Somtimes they never get things right...

Ah, but they did catch the big screen monitor.
That and the close to scale railing around the plane.

Sadly I'm sucked in......Hopefully they fix the tail and loose the red stripe on the fuselage. And if I'm not mistaken there should be a replica of the bomb sitting to the left of the plane

The bomb is on the right of the aircraft. It depends on when they were there. The bomb was not on display for a while, when it was under retoration and painting. On a side note, the two a-bombs on display in the museum are NOT replicas. They are real ones that were demilled.

I actually like it, the idea of it in a musuem setting, kinda cool. Cant tell so far from pics if they got the tail correct, but it is a cool idea.

I always thought it would be neat to do a diorama of a musuem setting with airplanes in it and all.

Just me, ?

Not just you Flaps, I rather like the idea of a museum setting also. Works well for significant aircraft like Bockscar.
