why are Dragon P-51D's so good, pic's

Just for the heck of it I shot some pics of my Dragon F-6D (phtoto recon P-51D).
Nobody makes a better D Model 1/72 Mustang, only drawback with Dragon Stangs are some loose fitting parts.

I agree it is the true unsung hero of the diecast world.
Gemini's B model stangs are great but I have to say the dragon has the edge in detail.

Great pics, PhantomPhan! You're now setting a standard for picture clarity, wow!

Dragon's P-51D models reigns supreme in that regime, and GA P-51B/C are second to none!

AND, what's more, the wing flaps can be removed for servicing ...

(I've got two, BBD and Glamorous Glen, and they're both excellent, even with their recalcitrant wing flaps .)

I always say "If ya can't get or afford a Corgi Mustang, Draggin' is an acceptable alternative"....even with the recalcitrant wing flaps. Corgi thoughtfully eliminated this malady by offering the choice of displaying flaps in either the fully retracted position, or the completely retracted position...Kudos to Corgi for truly innovative thinking.

Dear Hobbymaster, please note the detail on this model. Its a 1/72 scale, look very closely and YES RIVET DETAIL.
Of course its slightly overstated due to the small scale but it looks OK.

Now when you decide to make another model the first step should be to buy a Dragon Tbird or Mustang and look at what the potential is for a 1/48 scale model.
You can then make a model that will sweep the market and have everyone buying into Hobbymaster, sales will soar through the roof thus allowing you even more funds to invest in even better detailing for the next release and so on until Hobbymaster will be the premier diecast model maker.
Its that easy.

Its not too late to go back and fix that Spitfire. NO IT ISNT!

God Bless America.
