Dragon Fw 190D-9 JG 6

Well it has been four days now and the Dora is still riding high on its landing gear. Gear were a bit fusy to attach, but let them dry for 24 hours and so far they have held up (Even shifted model around a few times, but still standing). The Dragon Fw 190D-9 is a sharp looking model and really adds to my collection. The only real faults I had with it were one, the standard of no Swastika ( I fixed) and two, the lack of head rest detail in the canopy. One of the bits of detail I liked was light exhaust stains trailing behind exhaust stubs. Might have to pick up some of the other Dragon Doras.

Dragon's Doras are really good pieces, I just wished Dragon had produced a few more liveries..

Currently this is the only Dora I have. I like it too. Happily there's another enroute. Compliments of wmosner.

Re: Dragon Fw 190D-9 JG 6

It is day five and the Dora is still standing with no imminent sign of gear collapse.

I have had the same Dora in my display case for almost a year now and no problems with gear collapse, and I used elmers glue to assemble the pieces..

I have all the Dragon Doras and love them. Wish they had the tail swazies included though.

Since I put mine on the same, should hopefully have the same results.

I'll second that! How about the Fw-190D-9 Yellow Tail / Black 10 that Hasegawa puts out as 1:72 and 1:32 models? Or the Fw-190D-12 with torpedo that DML/Dragon put out as a 1:48 model? anyone...?
