They've been showing the release as "next month" ever since mid 2005...I gave up on this one ages ago, and I'm actually kind of glad, as I don't even want a Draggin' cat anymore after seeing Century's offerings....I know CW plans to do a VF-41 F-14, but I don't think it's going to be a 'Fitter Killer' scheme, which really kinda disappoints me.

I second Skunky's call for Century to do a Fitter Killer Tomcat, which besides being historically significant as the first Tomcat to score an aerial victory in combat, was also the companion squadron on the Nimitz to VF-84. Thus having both the VF-84 Final Countdown and VF-41 Fitter Killer will make a set of two squadrons aboard the same ship at roughly the same time (though DH will probably agree that the VF-84 markings did change a bit by 1981.)

Also, put out a VF-32 Mig Killer from the second Libyan engagement.

Yes I would. They'd have gone to the smaller insignia, and have no white at all by then. That was also the time they'd have the CVW-8 markings on the tail.

Here's the CAG in 1981:

Does century wings have any other F-14's that are known to be made? I would do the same, hold off on any others because if Century Wings makes that version, I would rather get that one.
