The only ME-109G-6 I have so far is the Cyber Hobby Hartmann. For some reason it just looks weird to me. Then again, maybe it's just that I don't find the later model 109's as elegant as the E and F model.

I'm curious, is it just me and I should get over it or are these a little more awkward looking?

By the way, thanks for giving us an alternate option forum wise.

I picked this one up last night and it's already one of my favorites! I have it displayed w/ canopy open etc. It just looks so dang cool!

I should probably know this, but what purpose did those blisters serve -- the ones hugging the top side of the fuselage, just ahead of the windscreen? To accommodate the engine? The cannon?

I believe that the bulges in the cowling where for additional cooling for the DB605 engine and the inclusion of 13 mm MG 131 machine guns.
