| Where to buy in Scandinavia? The question concerns diecast models in general, but Dragon Warbirds is one of the series I'm most interested in. I live in southern Sweden and I can't seem to find any distributors or dealers nearby. Does anyone know where I can buy military diecast models, preferably Dragon or some other high-quality 1:72 brand, in southern Sweden or Denmark? | |||||||||||||

| Re: Where to buy in Scandinavia? Hello and welcome to the forum! Maybe try eBay as you can get some good deals. The seller might combine shipping costs too. | |||||||||||||

| Re: Where to buy in Scandinavia? Thanks for the welcome! I have checked the internet, but it seems diecast distribution is totally underdeveloped in Scandinavia and especially in my area. There are a couple of places that sell by mail order (plus eBay etc), but shipping costs are fairly high. Plus being new to the hobby I'd like to browse a physical store and look for myself, if possible. I have found a couple of places in Sweden like I said (though none in my area), but when it comes to Denmark I can't get anything out of the internet. I live close to Copenhagen so I figured there has to be something there...? | |||||||||||||

| Re: Where to buy in Scandinavia? Here's a couple for you, but not in Sweden. The Swiss site has some of the older planes. http://www.flugzeugmodelle.com/ In the Netherlands http://www.aviationmegastore.com/ I have lots of relatives in Sweden and the shipping is not that bad from Canada and if you buy from the Toronto area the shipping time is very good. Send me a PM if your interested and I'll give you a few names. Med bäst hälsning från Calgary. | |||||||||||||

| Re: Where to buy in Scandinavia? There is a thread somewhere where a few of us listed our favourite stores. Most are buying via online sales from the UK and all over the USA and Canada. Even our Kiwi friends buy online from the US. Many of the stores and companies show decent photos of their product and the guys here are always quick to review and post photos of models here as they arrive. I'm sure someone will dig that thread up. ( I could not find it ) | |||||||||||||
