New F-14D VX-9

Just saw this upcoming VX-9 F-14D that comes with crewmen. Wonder if the colors of their attire accurate especially when the display base is not a carrier deck.

This plane was released once already with out the crewmen. They're just asking you to shell out an additional $5.00 for the extra accessories and a 3 year old plane. I swear Dragon istn't even trying anymore....They want to release an F-14 so badly, why don't they just relase the VF-41 F-14A which has been on hiatus for the last two years....

Thumbs down Re: New F-14D VX-9

Absolutely right. I have that one already. Then again its not a limited edition so I guess they can knock out as many as they want. The thing is they could at least have taken the opportunity to do a new scheme. Why would I want two of the same plane?

Its not just in 1:72. Their 1:400 has been DOA for quite a while with re-releases of junk that didn't sell the first time around.

I've spent my money on strippers, diecast airplanes and camera gear. The rest, I've wasted.

Re: New F-14D VX-9

Are the crewmen accurate for carrier crews? If yes, I could use them with my other F-14s. But not sure if this VX-9 F-14D has the dual chinpod.

Re: New F-14D VX-9

Even if it does, it's still got the shrouds and coloring of an F-14A, and an early F-14A nosecone.

Actually one of them is from the VX-4 Evaulators. Code named black bunny.
