They've got up an F-14 with base now too. ...Though it kind of looks like the inside packaging becomes the base? At least you get three figures.

Re: Regular release Warbirds w/ dio bases...

The t-bird base and model are interesting, not sure if the scheme is different enough to justify picking it up. Now, if they tossed some bombs and bazooka tubes and rockets into the mix, that would make the choice a lot easier. Come on dragon, how about a wwII weapons set!

It's the same P-47, check the tail number!

I love Dragon's P-47 but why the same one???

The 109 and F-14 are clearly repeats but I haven't seen that P-47 before? Did they release that stand-alone?

If so I missed it...

edit: I'll anwer my own question -- it's "Okie" ... I never noticed that cool artwork on it, think I just looked at the starboard side pic on the mule...

That is weak... must be trying to move slow-selling stock.........

Pappy,

When I first saw the pics of the P-47 I did a double take as well...I thought it was new, until I saw the bureau number on the tail. Talk about a let down!

Well the good new's for me is I don't have it so I will be ordering it, but dragon should when the bring out new diroamas offer a new plane. If you got that plane already are you going to shell out more dollers for the same plane? most likly not.

And it looks like two more re-releases announced, with new bases, to go along with the ones previously posted...

Re: Regular release Warbirds w/ dio bases...

I like the dios but I'm not buying the same plane again just to get the dio. Sell them seperately, then we can talk. Or sell the dios with new liveries on the planes.

Re: Regular release Warbirds w/ dio bases...

I never bought the original planes so something like this is tempting to me. I like having diorama bases for photo purposes. I've had a field day with the Corgi carrier deck.
