Just scored the Mille G and Petie 3rd on E-bay for less than $40! OK, excluding postage.

Thumbs down Re: Collecting Dragon's D Mustangs

Hey Easy8,

If you are serious about acquiring the Dragon blue P-51, it is on sale at Pete's Collectibles in the "Closeout" section.

I see they're out of stock on the RAAF one now. I asked them for a postage quote twice and got no response. Great pity, there were a few things I wanted but are now all gone.

Keep checking ebay, they come up all the time. I bought 2 for $20.

Wow, now that's a steal! Cool, I was just doing an E-bay search. I'll aim to pay a little less than the $20 a piece I just shelled out. I'm not disappointed though, I found Petie a little tough to find and the store I planned to get the Mille G from sold out.

It was a surprise to me, I thought I was bidding on the Korean one but the package came with the Special blue in as well as the Korean.
I could use a few more deals like that one even if I did already have the Bluey.

Cool Re: Collecting Dragon's D Mustangs

Good for you Jim. I've just been looking on Ebay and reckon I got the best deal on the day. Each of these birds can go for as much as $36 BIN. Ball park seems to be about $28 - $30.

Re: Collecting Dragon's D Mustangs

I've just managed to find a Yeager 'Glamorous Glennis' Mustang at a local hobby store - excellent piece of diecast! Dragon still possibly make the best 1/72 P51D Mustangs out there .

I'm showing disturbing signs of regressing back to (selected) 1/72 scale models .

Go Card, GO!!! 1/72 is the way to go! I'm happy with my six Dragon P51s. The two noted in an earlier post here arrived a couple of days ago. Really nice! Glad I found Petie 2nd.
