Re: Collecting Dragon's D Mustangs

IMHO they are the best Mustangs in 1/72 on the market.

Best D's around.....though if Matchbox had had the foresight to offer landing gear, it woulda been close.......

Sumthin just ain't quite right about the lower cowl area on the Matchbox Mustangs - and those HUGE screw holes in the bottom...aaaaaaarrrgh.

other than that though, they're wonderful!...

Well ok....if looked at from above they were good.......
I liked the subtle weathering and the pilot figure was one of the best detailed around.....which Dragon still don't supply......

I'm begining to think the Skunster has a P 51 cowl fetish!!!

PS is there an easier way to add icons to a message than cutting and pasting?

Re: Dragon Big beautiful Doll

It is pretty, stillinamerica, very pretty. I believe it is generally considered to be the best Dragon Mustang, if not the best Dragon Warbird. It's not my favorite, but it's definitely top 5 material.

Re: Dragon Big Beautiful Doll

If you like Dragons, then you can't really go wrong with any of the Mustangs. The only ones I'd give a miss are the blue ES-2, and the Korean War one. Millie G, Glamourous Glennis III, L'il Margaret, and Big Beautiful Doll are all just great.

Re: Dragon Big Beautiful Doll

Dragon's BBD is responsible for really kick-starting my diecast addiction, at least in 1:72.... it's awesome. Perhaps not the right shade of green for the anti-glare on the nose, but that's about the only niggle I found with it. Get it! Got it? Good!
