Re: Collecting Dragon's D Mustangs

Get the planes and wait for a 1/48 Firefly. The Dragon Ds are just the best series out there. I only need Maggie to complete my set but will pass on Korea and the blue one I think.

Leigh-Mallory and his big wings! Might as well stay on the ground for all the use they are!

Yeah, Shark Mouth Stang is a little on the blah side, but hey at least you get a couple of 500 lb bombs for some mud moving!

Gotta link to any of those on ebay you've found?

Try Farout Toys.com in San Jose, CA. They may still have the Millie G?

Re: Collecting Dragon's D Mustangs

Hey there.

I really like the Dragon RAF Mustang. Not sure why, but the livery always stands out to me. The big plus with the Korean bird is the bombs. They look really nice when you swamp them onto the RAF bird.

Anything for a weird life.

Cool Re: Collecting Dragon's D Mustangs

Thanks for your inputs guys. Gotta say still confused. Prefer WWII era planes. I fancy the RAAF more than the Korean one but djjeffhall's idea of swapping out the bombs is a stunning idea.

With regards the 1/48 Firefly, I don't collect 1/48s. I have a small collection of Dragon armour with only one Sherman (76mm gun). (Eerrr, soon to be increasing with 11 more landing in the next few weeks ) Firefly is very tempting.

I bought two Dragon Mustangs on the Uk ebay. Cheapest deal I ever made. about $20 for the pair shipped. One was the Korean and the other the Special blue edition.
IMHO they are the best Mustangs in 1/72 on the market.

Hopefully those Mustangs and their wildcat growl wont scare those purring housecat Spitfires of yours.
