Just posted this on another thread, but it'll go well here too:

Bitburg commander's plane, likely at delivery. It's a USAF F-15C that's colorful!

Re: Here's an F-15 scheme I'd like to see

Knew about the Skyblazers thing, didn't know it was for an airshow. Thanks for the info. Any idea how long it lasted? The "airshow" red-tail VF-101 F-14B seemed to have lasted for 2 years, or was re-painted that way for 2 airshows in a row.

I'd go for one of those...Streak Eagle would be nice too

I would love to have the Streak Eagle paint job as well.

Re: Here's an F-15 scheme I'd like to see

A Streak Eagle would rock. And it's actually quite easy to do accurately----the version I presume most people want (with the actual STREAK EAGLE markings on the nose and tail) is when it's in a pretty standard F-15A configuration asides from the nose boom. For the actual record flights with the nose boom, replacement fin tips, and the lights removed etc, even those markings were removed for weight and it was TOTALLY bare---boring.

But "bare with Streak Eagle markings" is just a bit prior (mainly photo ops and test flights) and it's in pretty standard F-15A configuration, only the added nose boom is really required.

I wouldn't want the totally bare one I'd want the one they used for the photo ops. This is what I had in mind.
