Re: P47D-22 "Silver Lady" CH

I'm with you Shawn! I think "Eileen" would be a great scheme to do...

Yeah there has to be an O.D. "D Model" out there that would interest Dragon.

Re: P47D-22 "Silver Lady" CH

The more I look at this aircraft, the more I like it! I'm pretty sure I have to have it. I read a blurb on this plane and apparently Gabreski even flew this aircraft once or twice. This should go well with the Gabreski P-47D Razorback just out.

Any news on Gabreski's P-47D Bubbletop being in the works by anyone? I love my MB one and would like to see a model with a little more detail.

Also, I have never ordered from Cyberhobby. What's the word on dealing with them?

You can order all CH models direct from dragon USA, dragonusaonline.com

No more having to deal with shipping from HK

Re: P47D-22 "Silver Lady" CH

Question on Dragon USA pre-orders. When you place your order, do you have the option to pay now and get it later. Or do they take the money when they ship it?
Personally I like the pay now, suprise me later option. I can never convince HouseHold 6 to let money float in the account just for "little toy airplanes".

Do the Cyber Hobby models come with the round display stand they are shown on?

Re: P47D-22 "Silver Lady" CH

So let me get this straight. The CH planes come with BOTH the normal flight display stand AND the display base?

That is correct.
When upset at Cyber-Hobby or Dragon Online it is appropriate to refer to the display base as an "upside down cat-dish/bowl" if you want.

Re: P47D-22 "Silver Lady" CH

They come with the standard Dragon inflight stand and a round display base. It's a multi-display option. You can put the plane on it's gear on a shelf. Or you can put it on it's gear on the display base. Or you can put it gear up on it's stand like it's in flight. Or you can put the gear up sitting on a shelf like it just crashed. Or you can put the gear up and hang it from the ceiling. Or you can tie a chain around the rear fuselage and hang it around you neck. Or you can hold it in you hand and play with it.
