LOL, you're a swell guy Harry to tempt one so close to Santa's visit (and when I'll really get in trouble for spending money on diecast ;-) well I should have been clear -- airplanes only please, and those are $15 each, unless of course I buy 'em all -- but I already have all of 'em but the 262 I'll give you a ten spot for that ![]() | |||||||||||||||

| Re: Dragon P-38 Harry, Hey there sir. You are absolutely correct, I bet that Hobby Master would do a great P-38. Sorry to be so snipey in my earlier post. I'm a little peaved at the boneheadedness that Corgi seems to be fostering right now. While the new moulds look fabulous, I would REALLY love Corgi to take the extra 10 minutes to get the whole P-38 thing right, bombs/no bombs wise. It looks to me (Someone who I would bet qualifies as "the average customer." in Corgi-land.) that their Quality Assurance/Quality Control is extra sloppy right now. I'm no expert but it appears that it would take just the smallest of tweaks to "get it right" instead of settling for getting it done. I'm a little tired of paying a premium (Compared to Dragon, Hobby Master or Gemini.) and being forced to settle for ignoring what they got sloppy with. (I pre-order many of my planes and tanks over the web so I'm stuck with the little screw-ups.) I'll gladly pay for the quality, as long as they are willing to take the time to get the details right. In this hobby, it all about the details. | ||||||||||||||
