| Re: Your #1 least favorite Dragon For my money ,because it is a Planes of Fame aircraft it makes it even more collectable. A great model of an aircraft from a great place. I just love it. Just to add to that, I would love to buy models based on the Reno air race types. How cool would they be in my collection. Wow.

| Re: Your #1 least favorite Dragon I got that its a real plane. I just prefer actual wartime markings/paint schemes is all. Yes its a beautiful aircraft with these markings. If Dragon wants to do warplanes in civvy / race markings thats fine. Just don't put them in the warbirds collection, start a new one. Personally, I hate seeing warbirds in non-military schemes. It just seems wrong. - Shawn | |||||||||||||

| Shawn, the actual OD aircraft looked blue at altitude so I wouldn't feel bad if l were you. That's probably where the civvie scheme comes from. You could just set yours up flying top cover. | |||||||||||||

Now thats funny, I get the joke. You can jazz up the modern stuff all you like, its the WW2 stuff I care about. I can't imagine anyone buying a ticket for that no matter how cheap they are. Ever see this one... | ||||||||||||||

| Re: Your #1 least favorite Dragon Their Tomcats, closely followed by those below. Anything German they put out, and I know it is sacrilage here, but I say their Mustangs have issues as well. Dragon's are the best Stangs in 1/72, but if you look at their canopies you can see that these were modeled more on postwar 2 seater Warbirds, than actual wartime Mustangs. Their Corsairs also have issues, and on both I actually prefer the old Pooch, despite all their well known flaws. Skysurfer808 | |||||||||||||

| Re: Your #1 least favorite Dragon I would like to be counted among those who disliked the P-51 "Special Edition" (50051S). Mine riveled the worst example of modeling from IXO! Bad paint and misshapen parts were among its joys. It was so bad that Dragon Care shipped me my choice of any similarly priced plane they had in stock (which, unfortunately there wasn't much to choose from). | |||||||||||||
