WOW! This should be very nice. Maybe a 1/72 in the works????

Don't forget the targets are my airfields, Leigh-Mallory, and you're not getting fifty, you're not even getting ten.

Ooooohhhhh pleeeeeeeaaaassseee do one in 72nd scale!!!!! I'm so tired of seeing those $100.00 plus B-17s from Corgi that aren't the best that money can buy. If Dragon did this plane to their usual quality and pricing, they would be cheaper, more detailed, and have a better quality -no large gaps and inaccurate features. So let's all moan, groan, and complain and hope that Dragon listens.

Hey don't forget a Memphis Belle in 1/72nd
I like to see the detail on that one.I'm happy to see Dragon starting to take note of these B-17's.

Well, right now they are the best money can buy, unfortunately -- there are no other options in 1:72

But of course, we all know that... I would be very interested to see Dragon tackle a heavy--you might need a whole tube of elmers to put her together, but I bet the effort would be worth it! When I first saw this post I just about danced a jig...then I saw the scale. I don't do 1:144.. wow, a scale I've managed to stay away from

With corgi's prices for new multi-engine releases, that pretty much means there are no more options in my book ($80 for the Ju-88, $150 for new B-17s, etc. Zoiks!)

Re: Dragon B-17

Food! FOOODDD!!
Finally, collecting 1:144 pays. I think we can expect more accurate props and gun ports than from Corgi. I hope they'll also be the first to make a proper B-24 in this scale.

Re: Dragon B-17

My wife's uncle flew as a ball turret and waist gunner on 35 missions over Germany. I have several models of the ol gal. He was in the 91st Bomb Group, 324th Bomb Sq, 8th AF. Yes the same as the Belle, infact he has several pics of it at base. He never flew in it though. He had been in it several times. I would love to see Dragon do a belle or a Shoo Shoo Baby,

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.
