New Corgi and Dragons

Hey hope lots join the nw forum, Just got word from my Dealer that the 1st Dragon Stuka is out, # DRW50258, Got mine on it's way today.

Should be nice, cant wait to see what improvements they have made over the others like Corgi and HM.

I also ordered the new rally low priced Corgi Warbirds Stuka with the silver spinner, seems to have fixed gear unlike the other Corgi Warbirds and hey for under $19.00 how can you go wrong on this one.

I would just like to take a moment to thank Corgi for giving us the option to have the gear down on the Warbirds Stuka!

I will be very interested to see if Dragon can make any improvements over the HM version - IMHO that is pretty close to perfect! Add a Swazi, and with the minor cockpit error fixed, they will take a lot of beating!

Dragon will have a hard time with HM on WWII aircraft.

I dunno about that. I have a HM Dauntless and a Draggin' P-51 sitting here and they are very comparable in terms of detailing. Draggin' also has the edge in that they've probably sold more P-51s than HM will ever sell in Stukas, SBDs, and MiG 21s combined, which means that they'll likely be able to dump more funds into new molds and more liveries available. HM has the buzz right now, and if they can keep up the fantastic work they should be able to grab a share of the market, but as long as they continue with the more obscure subjects they'll never be rolling as high as Corgi and Dragon. Those two have more to worry about from Gemini methinks.
