1/400 B-2

So anybody have one of these and what do you think? How big does this turn out to be in 1/400? I've walked under the one at WPAFB and it's still hard to tell its size compared to the other 1/1 planes on display. I don't own any other 1/400 to compare it with.

What 1/400 B2 are we talking about here? Sounds interesting ...

(I have the F117 & Tanker in 1/400 and this may well be required to keep them company - together with the '707' and 'Super Connie' AWACS .)

Re: 1/400 B-2

Dragon makes one of these in 1:400 and there little.
Size is 2" Length and 5.25" Width.
The item number is DRW55993.
You can also get one with a KC-10 Tanker & B-2 Bomber made by Dragon also
and that one is DRW55601.
Hope this helps.

Re: 1/400 B-2

I have the McGuire KC-10/Spirit of Texas B-2 refueling combo....I like this one a lot....The B-2 is very well detailed for its size.

Re: 1/400 B-2

Whoa! That is little 2x5 inches. I thought it looked pretty neat if I could find a deal but I think I'll wait. 1/144 or even 1/200 might be more what I'm up for.

Thanks guys.

You might want to check out the Model Power B-2. The scale is 1/280 and the detail is pretty reasonable, especially for about $15.

Here is a pic from the Model Power website:

Re: 1/400 B-2

One of my customers has one of these, and I was surpirsed when I first saw it. It's a pretty cool model. I think you'll like it. Infact, after seeing it, I've been pushing to get it and the other small scale military stuff in our line-up.

The wingspan is about six inches.

Re: 1/400 B-2

Looks sweet in that picure for sure. WOW! I saw the MP one at Hobby Lobby and passed but this Dragon bird is a must see in person it seems.
Have to hunt one down.

Re: 1/400 B-2

I've noticed that the Dragon B2 has apparently recently arrived at TFM but in my opinion it's a little overpriced given the size (or lack thereof) .

Re: 1/400 B-2

You got that right, Cardo....I got the KC-10/B-2 refueling combo for less than that.....They must be charging a mint for the landing gear.
