My Eagles Custom (Finished)..

Recently, I got the urge to paint another custom P-51.. This one is for me though and it is in the livery of Preddy's "Cripes-A-Mighty".. It is about 70% complete and I will be taking it over to Mark's so he can take better pics of it when I am done..

Re: My personal Eagles Custom..

When finished, that is going to be a mighty fine piece of die-cast Harry . I wish I had the talent and patience to do that ...

Question Re: My personal Eagles Custom..

Looking good Harry. Which model did you use as the basis for your repaint?

Thanks for the comments.. I used the Polish P-51 as a basis as the Alclad aluminum paint seems to work best on planes that don't already have a silver base..

Harry, you desecrated the RAF Polish P51 (surely one of EI's finest)? Is nothing sacred any more ... . You might as well have us esteemed forum members .

Sorry Card, but I meant no desecration considering I painted the prototype Polish P-51 to begin with..
On a side note, I think the Inamaconbelle is my favorite as it was my first commissioned paintscheme..

Harry, it's testament to your skill with the airbrush that my top two EI P51s are the RAF Polish version and Ina the Macon Belle - both are absolutely superb examples of the diecast craft .
