I Can't Believe I Painted That FW-190 Cowling

I did those red and black checkers free hand about eight years ago. Dare I try it again on a diecast model?

Thanks. I'm sorely tempted to give it a try. Will attempt to post a better picture if I do.

Great looking work and some fantastic freehand painting!
 

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

I've already picked out a suitable spare Dragon and may have a go at replicating my free hand work this weekend.

Nice job on the paint scheme Ed and I would certainly like to see this on a 1/72 diecast..
