Talking Re: IXO Beau nightfighter

OK, we'll look forward to seeing your Oxford St. diorama then JPN!!

When (if) 'Friday the 13th' shows up, I'll be happy to share a snap or two here of the duo! (IXO Beaufighter is NOW secured!)

You have to get out more.

You know, you could be right??

Thumbs up Re: IXO Beau nightfighter

where on Oxford St.? ? ?

On the site of John Lewis's bombed out store, London, June 1945. The John Lewis firm never gives out a street address(?) for this location so all I can tell you is it is a block west of Tottenham Court Road on the north side of Oxford. You can Google Map it here -- it is still there (the store that is -- NOT 'Friday the 13th'!). There was an exhibition there called "Britain's Aircraft" where 'Friday the 13th' was the star attraction. Then it promptly got cut up to be melted down to household pots. Sad, really.

The photo says the rest. Note the Beaufighter as well. (Sorry, no4, but ONLY the airplanes included in MY diorama!!)
