Dragon P-51D "Old Crow" Repaint

All,

Here is the most recent repaint, completed by my dad. He took the Dragon Korean War P-51, added the correct WWII "cuffed" prop with spinner and drop tanks from a Minicraft mustang kit, and used Superscale decals (I think.) Rudder, anti-glare panel, invasion stripes and exhaust painted separately.

Thanks guys! We're either going to do the -D "Nooky Booky," "Missouri Armada," or "Hurry Home Honey" next. I can't decide...My goal is to have the top Aces of the 357th when all is said and done: Carson - 18.5, England - 17.5, Anderson - 16.25, and Peterson - 15.5.

After seeing Shawn's -B "Old Crow" that one may have to be bumped to the top.

Yup, that's Superscale decal No. 72-906 - just bought it myself 5 days ago! I've got a Gemini Berlin Express to Old Crow conversion in progress, and plan to do the same as above with a spare Dragon RAAF 'D' version soon too. Excellent job by your dad, Tundra!

Nice one! Are you the chap who collects all the schemes for the 357th FG Mustangs? Sorry, I don't remember who it was.

Now that is one I look forward to, I'd like to know how you do with the invasion stripes. As for the one that started this thread, very nice. I was thinking of doing that to a spare Yeager bird. Now can we get more info on the Airacobra "Old Crow"???
