Thumbs up Re: Improving the CC Wimpy..

Congrats JPN!!!
The Welly is a fine bird and one of Corgi's most underrated molds but will help complete any RAF collection nicely..

Thanx! You are 100% correct. Upon seeing your shots and the Tricatus ones, I just knew I needed a Welly to compliment my Halifax Mk II thus rounding out my early RAF collection. I had NO idea, though, how stunning the detail was on this model until I opened the box. I was astounded especially by the wing detail -- truly one of Corgi's better efforts indeed. I would put this in the Gladiator/Lysander/Swordfish category for fine detailing and consider it one of Corgi's premiere (sleeper) models with plenty of variations to choose from. Boy, when they do them right -- do they do them RIGHT!!!

I'm now hoping they do similar job with either a Blenheim Mk I or HP Hampden (or both!). Either (or both) would look sooooo good in my collection.
