Re: Tampo print decal repair?

Toothpaste, eh? I never would have thought of that,

Toothpaste is a mild, fine grain, polish that can be used for many applications, including scratches on CD's and DVD's and we all have some at home, so there is no need to run to the store for it. I normally use the regular white stuff. Another option is using automotive paint polishing paste that is even finer than toothpaste. Just be careful no to overdo it. It works well on cockpit transparencies too.

Excellent job on communicating the story! I vote to give Canucklehead a Fargan Award (whatever that is!)

Re: Tampo print decal repair?

Canucklehead wins my vote for posts of the year. (Yeah, the warbird work was pretty impressive as well.)

Anything for a weird life.

Re: Tampo print decal repair?

I haven't the foggiest notion what a Fargan Award is, but if it is for a "funny, most orignal post" ever, I'll vote for it!

Re: Tampo print decal repair?

I think it should actually be called a Fahrvergnugen Award...

Re: Tampo print decal repair?

OK, we've got 5 votes, Canucklehead wins the Model Hangar's first ever Fargan Award.

For a fargan funny post during these fargan depressing times.

Sponsored by the 1980's movie "Johnny Dangerously".

ROFL! Oh Canucklehead, that's the most unexpectedly funny thing I've seen in a long time! Congrats on getting the smudges off, too!

Oh, man, I second that! Ace job on all levels!
