Dragon P-51D "Old Crow"

Well here is my old Dragon Special Edition Blue E2-S repainted as "Old Crow" in OD and Grey. I was trying to bid on another Glamorous Glennis to make a second "OC" in silver but was out-bid.
So until Gemini or Dragon pulled their heads out and make one for us, this will have to do.

Re: Dragon P-51D "Old Crow"

Easy 8, Mustang Driver, and hworth18 thanks for the comments. Now that I have an Old Crow in the D model, I want one in a B. Who knows, next conversion?

Re: Dragon P-51D "Old Crow"

Very nicely done. I got my Blue E2 for cheap, and after seeing your work, I'm considering my first diecast aircraft mod...

Re: Dragon P-51D "Old Crow"

ZS-VAN / bsmith13 thanks for the comments. bsmith, it was interesting removing all that blue paint just so you know. But it will come off to the bare metal paint fairly easily. The rear horizontal wings and wheel covers were tricky being plastic.
