New SE Edition Marines Dream modification

O.K., so I had someissues with the new Franklin Mint F4U Corsair Marine's Dream. If any of you know me, you know that I am going to fix it if it is not right. So here is what mine looks like now, with a little work. What do you all think?

Re: New SE Edition Marines Dream modification

Well, I used a photo that I had of the real Marine's Dream taken during the war. I first cut pieces of white decal sheeting and used them as the taped up panel lines forward of the cockpit. I was going to paint them, but the real ones were tape, and I figured that it might as well be just like the real one. I then added the nose art to the cowling, that for some odd reason FM did not put on there. Why in the world they left the nose art off, I can't understand. I think it looks better, and now looks like the photo that I have, except that it is not an early model Corsair.

Well, MD, the nose art looks great, and that's all that really matters, right......? Anyway, great job, looks very good.

Great job on the MD Corsair.. Franklins always seem to need some detail that has been left off..
