Re: Repaint DML Saucy Susie

Very nice paint job, Shawn. Frank Oiler's mount is my favorite scheme. He had this scheme on his previous "razorback" P-47 as well.

I've been planning to do this scheme on a spare MB P-47 for awhile now but I just haven't gotten around to it yet. Maybe one of
these days...

Thanks. When I found a pic of his razorback I had thoughts of doing that one as well. But it was just a cockpit shot, so who knows what else is needed.
I've been toying with the idea of turning the Gemini "Ding Hao" into and early "Old Crow" before the red and yellow checkering. And as mentioned there is my OD P-51D, the former blue E2-S being converted into "Old Crow".

Indecision is the key to flexibilty.
Flexibility is the key to airpower.
Indecision is therefore the key to Airpower.

She is an ugly bird alright. One of the reasons I had to re-paint her were those awful colors and markings. She looked more like a Reno racer and less like a warbird.
