"I feel the need for speed"

Hey guys, as promissed, here is a pic of the Dragon F-14 that has been modified into the markings of the one flown by "Maverick" and "Goose" in the movie TOPGUN. I still need to add the decasl above the intakes, but I am waiting on them to arrive, so this is how she is on display right now.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

......mmmmm, nahhhh...I'm hearing Kelly Magillis saying "Skunky, ya big stud - take me to bed or lose me forever"...........Nice Cat, stang..I really like the low vis look and would like to see it show up more in diecast...Everything doesn't need to be a flashy CAGbird......Oh, just one more little thing that's been kind of buggin' me, that canopy frame.....it isn't really purple is it?....it's just the picture right?....I thought so...I'm awfully sorry to have bothered you again, sir....(my Columbo impersonation...what did ya think of it??)

Re: "I feel the need for speed"

No it is not purple. The front panel in the windshiels is tinted blue, and it looks that way in the pic for some reason.
