Anything, Anywhere, Anytime

That should give you guys a hint as to what I am working on. I am modifying a Franklin Mint slick Huey into a ship from Air America. I will post pics when I am finished. My friend flew with Air America, so I plan on putting it in the markings of one of the ones he flew.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Shades of Mel Gibson/Robert Downey Jr. film of the same title? Can't wait to see your finished model.

Re: Anything, Anywhere, Anytime

Ha! Ha! Air America's official slogan was Anything, Anywhere, Anytime, Professionally. The pilots had two that they made up. One was, Air America, the world's most shot at airline. The other was Come fly the friendly skies of Southeast Asia. The aircraft all had I.D. numbers on the sides, but they were fake, and usually used on more than one aircraft, so that you couldn't track any one aircraft. I am freinds with a couple of Air America pilots, and they all have some really amazing stories to tell.

Re: Anything, Anywhere, Anytime

There was a great show on the military or History Channel about a month or so ago on Air America. They had interviews with several pilots.........really amazing!
