Yippee, first post in this forum!

So what goodies did everyone pick up in the latest Tuesday Morning haul?

These Corgi 1/50 scale tanks have really grown on me.

My local TM had the Legends Churchill (decided to hold off for now), the Wittman Tiger, and a halftrack. Also found a Cromwell with a short barrell and what looked like winter weathering, can't remember what series that one belongs to. I did pick up a Legends Rector P-40 "white 104".

Corgi's are so damn hard to get here in OZ and they cost nearly as much as Minichamps.
Would love a TM here.

As far as armor goes I was sticking w/ Dragon in 72nd... Though last week I was @ TM and lost control! I picked up 2 different Panthers ($15 ea), 2 Bedford radio trucks ($15 and $8 for a slightly damaged one), Tiger face Sherman ($15, cheap and ugly as sin!), the M-16 halftrack, and a couple of gratuitous firetrucks (10+15).
All are very nice though certainly more toylike than the Dragon efforts. But for the price oh well!

The leg-ends tiger, winter sherman easy-8, tiger face sherman and batle of the buldge panther. Oh the bedford comm's truck as well.

Not sure about the Legends armour. It really does look a lot cheeper when compared the the regular stuff. Not so with the Aircraft. Some of these look as good at the proper AA releases.

Re: Yippee, first post in this forum!

I have now had three different die cast shops/dealers tell me the the TM deal is about to end. This last batch was from a distributor who no longer carries Corgi so when they are gone they are gone. I don't know if that is the truth or wishful thinking on their part but it sounds plausible. A shame, really, because I wouldn't have become interested in the 1/50 armor without TM sales and it is one of the few true "treasure hunts" in the hobby.

If anyone comes across a Tiger Face Sherman or Comet and would be willing to purchase it I will buy them from you. I can provide references from old and new MH members .

Re: Yippee, first post in this forum!

The TM saga has been going on for over a year with at least 3 different shipments been stocked in the stores 2 (in the last 3 months), so I'm not sure if the disti's realy know.

It wouldn't supprise me if Corgi were keeping their distance from TM in order to appease their distributors, but just the shear quantity of models and wide distribution, plus that fact that there were actually very few different models turning up makes me believe that this is a semi official stock dump to clear slow sellers/remainders
