| Ouch and dang blast it Unfortunately, whilst re-organising my aircraft display and repacking my Corgi Aviation Seaking AA33404 for storage, four ‘pins’ in the rotor head snapped and remained in the rotor blades. I am not sure whether the cause was due to a fragile casting or metal fatigue as I am very gentle with my pride and joys, only handling them with cotton gloves. The photograph below shows the rotor head with the intact pin (circled white) and the snapped/broken pins (circled red) Has anyone got a 'broken' Seaking that they are prepared to trash and donate a rotor head to a simpering, inconsolable fellow forumite? I've tried the new Corgi angel, Helena , but the Dawg doesn't keep rotor heads as spares. ![]() | |||||||||||||

| Re: Ouch and dang blast it Dc, If you can't find a replacement head, you could always file of the broken nubs, drill out the base and put metal pins in their place. | |||||||||||||

That's what I'd do. Get a nice pin vice and really small gauge drill bits. It will work like a champ! | ||||||||||||||
