I have seen it, and it is a nice looking set.. I can't say if it is worth the money, but you might wait till someone posts pics of it and judge for yourself..

Re: New Tiger w/ riders

I have both this and the Sherman with tank riders and like them both. As for the price, I don't think it is too bad for a tank and 6 figures (although they are molded together in pairs). I don't have a camera that is any good when it comes to closeup shots of these things but the photos on www.flyingmule.com are great as always and are an accurate representation.

Re: New Tiger w/ riders

Does anyone know if the 2007 tanks are cancelled as reported by Goldstarstockist in England. I just noticed this when I was going through their weekly update list for Corgi.

The ones which are just being released are from 2006, I hope these are not the last of them.

Re: New Tiger w/ riders

Here are some pictures.

You'll have to destroy the packaging to get them out.

Re: New Tiger w/ riders

Thanks for posting the pictures. I detest this packaging, though it is obviously better from a marketing standpoint.

I saw a U.S. halftrack recently with troopers and some of the figures had no eyes!

Re: New Tiger w/ riders

I saw them at a store in Burbank, CA, where I get most of my models, and these are 20% off. The tanks (Sherman and Tiger) are $54.00, with the discount price being $43.20, and the halftrack (M16 with quad .50s) is $52.00 with the discount price being $41.60. If anyone wants the name/address, send me a PM.

Re: New Tiger w/ riders

I have all of these as well as the half-track with AA gun. The latter is the only one I've removed from the packaging and I did it cleanly with a hair dryer. This can be very easy to screw up though so always err on the side of caution when determining heat and distance. Use passing motions like you would with a paint gun, and take your time.

Thanks for the tip as I was going to open them up on the weekend.

I got these from Merritech and you pay in those cheap Canadian dollars which is even better.

I am hoping Corgi will continue with these and I would sure like to see some new molds rather than the same ones over and over.
