First Corgi Sherman

I just picked up a 50th Anniversary Corgi Sherman Thunderbolt VII. My first tank, usually collect the Corgi Archive planes.

Sounds like this is a nice one to start with???

Paid $25 US.

Just curious as to your thoughts.

Re: First Corgi Sherman

rictor133,
Hey there.

I like the Corgi armor. Their Shermans are nice but I really wish the guns elevated. (Yes, I'm being very picky.)

The odd scale makes them stand out if you display armor and planes toegther. Over all, they are nice additions. If you have Tuesday Morning shops in Canada, or you live near the U.S. border, you can usually pick up some Corgi armor during their "dumps". I've grabbed 10-15 different tanks/light armor vehicles this way. The Tuesday Morning prices are $10 for legends and $15.00 for the limited versions. (Plus tax and whatever driving expenses of course.) Unless you are planning on going in "whole hog" on armor, it's good to wait for the sales and grab them as they become available. True, its a little more limiting in what you might find, but inexpensive and always fun to suddenly see one on the shelf in front of you.

Anything for a weird life.
