Corgi 1/50 T-34/85?

Anyone know when this is going to be out? It looks pretty good and I would like to pick one up.

The Korean war one was out for some time. Are there any other liveries planned, like the seldom used Soviet ones? However, Dragon 1:72 T-34/85 is superb, and one can be sure that DML will milk the mold for what it's worth and then some.

Sergey

I love Corgi's 1/50 line. When is their T-34/85 due?

Re: Corgi 1/50 T-34/85?

Looking forward to the Corgi 1:50 myself. The limited edition T-34/76 winter camo 1:50 they did was superb and one of my favourite tank models.

Try the Forces of Valour 1:72 T-34/85 1945 model too. It has great detail and a tank commander figure in the turret.

Re: Corgi 1/50 T-34/85?

It looks like Corgi's new T-34/85 has a June 07 release date. I guess we all know how it could go from there.

This model is part of the new Skirmish Line and will include 3 Russian soldiers. Most of the soldiers were not available at the time of publishing their catalog so I don't think there are any pictures for them yet.

thanks
Ronnie

The tank in the picture is definitely T-34/76 M1943 not the long barreled T-34/85. I wonder what the inscription on the turret reads.

Re: Corgi 1/50 T-34/85?

Hmmm, another muddy winter T-34. Seems Corgi thought there was room for milking the last moulding of this model at 1:50. All they have added is a couple of extra fuel barrels and possibly a new slogan. Not impressed!

Re: Corgi 1/50 T-34/85?

Was hoping for the long barreled 85 mm version. Hope it evolves back to that when it comes out.

Re: Corgi 1/50 T-34/85?

There is a Corgi 60th anniversary VE Day edition of a T-34/85 with the exact same livery/slogan as the Forces of Valour 1:72 T-34/85, not sure if it is 1:50 though - pops up on Ebay occasionally.

EDIT - just seen one on Ebay UK - it is 1:72 in the Corgi Fighting Machines series.

Cool Re: Corgi 1/50 T-34/85

I'm including some photos of the Corgi 1/50 T34/85 that would not be out of place in WWII on the Eastern Front, even though it is supposed to be a Chinese made North Korean version (hence the markings) ...

(These are becoming more difficult to find nowadays so if you see one you would be well advised to give it some serious consideration - it is an excellent piece of diecast and you are unlikely to be disappointed! )
