Corgi v. HobbyMaster Armor

If I understand correctly, HM armor is 1/56 and Corgi is 1/50. Anyone have both and can you tell me if they mix well?

Re: Corgi v. HobbyMaster Armor

Gort - Yes, some of the Hobby Master tanks are available, but only the 1:56 scale.

JC Woodman - Hobby Master started a line of 1:56 tanks, but quickly switched to the upcoming 1:48. I'm not sure if they are going to continue the line or kill it? Hawkvoodooone posts all sorts of updates and keeps folks completly up to date. Keep an eye out for his always excellent posts.

The 1/56 Hobby Master tanks are out and so are the first 2 1/48 scale tanks. Hobby Master will start to produce 1/72 AFVs in 2007 and 1/72 will be their main focus for planes and vehicles.

And my signature still doesn't appear so I have to add this again.

Re: Corgi v. HobbyMaster Armor

Any idea how/why they selected 56th scale?

Re: Corgi v. HobbyMaster Armor

I suspect somebody probably made a mistake when setting the scale.

And about time It always amazes me when model companies choose obscure scales. For example, First Gear, the company that recently bought out Britains makes a huge range of well detailed 1/34 scale trucks.

WHY? There's nothing in that scale for collectors to include them with. If they were made in 1/32 scale it would have made much more sense - end of rant
