I'd have to go with the belle...and what a pain of a model to find for being a non limited production.....

Re: Corgi B-17 Flying Fort

Bit O Lace is my favorite from the choices offered. I also have a 2nd Patches which is also a nice looking model.

And again (no surprise), I would really like to add a CC Fortress to my collection.

Re: Corgi B-17 Flying Fort

It's recent appearance at TM dulled it's luster a bit for me, but I still have to go with Bit O' Lace, followed closely by Memphis Belle, and Miss Minookie (wow, those are all TM stars... come to think of it).

Can't believe MB is hard to find now, I remember seeing 6-8 of 'em at TM for $30 a pop, and thought to myself "we'll always be able to get that one"

M'NR because of its basic Army olive drab and medium grey.

Re: Corgi B-17 Flying Fort

Despite being sold off at TM, Bit of Lace is still my favorite looks wise. However, Memphis Belle is the most historically significant while RAF Coastal Command is the most desirable.

Sergey

Re: Corgi B-17 Flying Fort

It wasn't for me...I wasn't even looking for this one when I "stumbled" upon it at Tuesday Morning last year...To tell you the truth I wasn't even going to pick it up because I had just found B-24 Skywitch and 1/32nd P51 Old Crow, but my wife insisted on it..In fact she even grabbed it off the shelf and ran it up to the register after I had put it back...So I "reluctantly" walked out of the store that day with my 3 new purchases - and change back from my $100.00 bill....She never lets me forget it every time I show her what people are giving for those things now.
